TailorConnect ("we", "our", "us") is a mobile application designed for tailoring businesses and their clients. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our application and related services.

2.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and profile photo when you create an account via Google Sign-In or phone authentication.
- Business Data: Shop name, address, customer records, measurements, orders, karigar (artisan) details, and pricing information.
- Client Data: If you use the client mode, your measurement records, order history, and profile details linked by the business.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
- Usage Data: App interaction patterns, feature usage, and crash reports.
- Network Information: IP address and connection type for service delivery and security purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve TailorConnect's services
- To authenticate your identity and manage your account
- To sync your data across devices via cloud backup
- To enable the client portal feature for customers to view their measurements and orders
- To send push notifications related to orders and app updates (with your consent)
- To detect, prevent, and address security issues and technical problems
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored using the following infrastructure:
- Local Storage: Core business data is stored locally on your device using SQLite for offline access.
- Cloud Storage: When you enable cloud sync or backup, your data is stored on Cloudflare's global network using Cloudflare D1 (database) and Workers (API).
- Authentication: Account authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

TailorConnect uses the following third-party services:

7. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: You can view all your data within the TailorConnect app at any time.
- Correction: You can update your profile and business information through the app.
- Export: You can export your data through the app's backup feature.
- Deletion: You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data through the app (Settings → Delete Account) or via our account deletion page.
- Withdrawal of consent: You can revoke permissions (notifications, camera, storage) at any time through your device settings.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion:
- Your account is deactivated immediately
- All data is permanently deleted within 30 days
- No data is retained after the deletion process is complete
Session tokens expire automatically after 30 days of inactivity.
9. Children's Privacy
TailorConnect is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of TailorConnect after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
